| Thane Half Marathon Organising Committee had their maiden event conducted on 27th February 2011 in Thane. The event was very well organised and had 4000 participants. Advan-t-edge Computer Consultants, Thane was approached for designing the Thane Half Marathon website (www.thanehalfmarathon.com) as well as manage their online and offline registrations. The online registration involved CCAvenue payment gateway integration to enable runners from all across the country to register for the event. Advan-t-edge Computer Consultants also supported the event by designing communication channels covering mass mailing & mass sms solutions. The event results were sms'ed to all Half Marathon runners within 2 hours of completion of the race. E-Certificates for all runners were also posted on site within 3 days of the completion of the event. The planning for the next event somewhere in the month of December 2011 is already on and the website promises to grow in terms of exciting new features for all participants. |
